We would like to thank our guests from the real estate industry and the press, as well as our joint venture partner Aam2core, who made our launch something very special. Special thanks also go to our guest speaker Horst von Buttlar, who emphasized the importance of immediate, courageous, and comprehensive action in the fight against climate change.
We can fully identify with his clear appeal and share the opinion: We have no time to hesitate! That's why TESTA comes at just the right time!
TESTA will be built next to BER airport and the lively southeast of Berlin and is our vision for sustainable and humane construction and working. The consistently sustainable concept is reflected in the choice of materials, state-of-the-art building technology, design components, and biodiverse green spaces. The ensemble, with an area of 45,700 m², consisting of three office buildings and a hotel complex, is being built around a green square with its own restaurants, local amenities, and fitness studio. Spacious, smart office spaces in a stimulating and relaxed environment of forest and heathland create a unique working environment.
TESTA (Latin for "brick")
is the namesake and symbol of our vision.
The façade is made from over a million recycled bricks. From the smallest unit, the individual brick, to air conditioning, water management, and the integration of electric mobility, TESTA sets standards and shows what contemporary architecture can achieve. The sustainable concept is continued through the use of modern heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, wastewater heat recovery, and numerous solar facade components, making it possible to completely eliminate the use of fossil fuels. Thanks to these and numerous other energy-saving measures, TESTA meets the highest KFW 40 standard currently available, is set to be certified by DGNB and LEED Platinum, and fully complies with the requirements of the EU taxonomy (in accordance with Article 9). Especially in times of sharply rising energy prices, tenants at TESTA save significantly on ancillary costs, as around 60% of the heating and cooling supply can be covered by self-generated energy. This makes TESTA one of the greenest developments of its size in Germany.
The holistic concept of TESTA continues in the interior: raw, robust surfaces and versatile areas that can be adapted to the requirements of an individualized working environment form the basis for long-lasting appeal and durability. The rooms will utilize a variety of smart and efficient solutions designed to minimize the ecological footprint and maximize user well-being.
