A district will be built on a plot measuring approx. 12,000 m², which will combine offices, a hotel, gastronomy and retail space. The individual buildings are arranged around a distinctive oval-shaped, public square, which will ensure a revitalisation of the surrounding area even outside the office hours due to the diverse offer of mixed uses.
The ensemble of buildings line the facade along the Stolberger Straße and Eupener Straße. The five to six-storey clinker building shell emerges above a 5.75-metre-tall basement entrance consisting of high-quality, exposed concrete arches. The concept creates attractive room sequences: from guidance through wide paths between the buildings to an opening oval space in the middle.
The project involves the construction of a four-part building complex with a two-storey underground parking garage. The plot is situated in Braunsfeld, Cologne's western district, between high-quality residences in the south and commercial structures in the north.
